Last semester, Duncan McNicholl, an overseas volunteer working in Water and Sanitation in Malawi, was introduced. Questions were asked, and now the answers will be revealed at this week’s Member Learning. Don’t miss out – we’ll be in 1B79 at 6pm on Thursday.
The exec will be meeting at 7pm on Thursday in 1B79 (after the Member Learning meeting). You are, as always, welcome to join.
Elections for next year’s executive are just around the corner! Presidential elections will be held on Thursday, March 3rd at Member Learning; elections for all other exec positions will be the following week.
If you are interested in applying for a position, please fill out the attached application form by February 25th, or February 17th if you are running for president. Applications and questions can be directed to Colleen at firstname.lastname@example.org
The date for workshops at SciFi Science Camps has been moved to Saturday March 5th. However, we are still looking for volunteers! Don’t worry if you have no experience with EWB workshops – we will pair you with an experienced volunteer.
Email email@example.com to sign up for a workshop!
Fair Trade February
On Monday, February 14th, EWB members will be delivering Fair Trade gift baskets to Saskatoon’s four Members of Parliament, Mayor Don Atchison, President Peter MacKinnon and Dr Ernie Barber as part of our Fair Trade Valentine campaign. Thanks to everyone who helped get the gift baskets together, or volunteered to deliver them!
The University of Regina will be hosting a tri-university EWB retreat next weekend (February 18th-20th). Please email Colleen at firstname.lastname@example.org for more information.
