Zikomo (Thank you)

Zikomo (thank you) to everyone who attended the event we held in Swift Current this past weekend.  With everyone’s help, dedication, and support we were able to raise over $1000 for our African programs.  URegina was there for the ride, and helped tremendously to ensure the event was a success!

There were three Junior Fellow presentations, done by Stephanie Laing, Ali Molaro, and myself, and Seth Dueck was there to MC!  The whole chapter worked together very well to set up, clean up, and lend a hand whenever needed.

Zikomo to our title sponsors (A. & V. Painting Ltd. and Wilf’s Oilfield Services), our minor sponsors (Jubilee Developers, Leinan-Howell Farms Ltd., and Kokopelli’s), to the Akropol Family Restaurant who fed our performers (The Ghanadians) before the show, and to Shann and Ray Gowan whose help and support ensure the event was a big success!

We were able to reach a brand new audience of people, in a city where EWB had not been before!
